Bishop Lawrence Reddick is the 51st Bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church and currently serves as the Senior Bishop (longest-serving active bishop and CEO). Since July 2014, he has been the Presiding Prelate of the Eighth Episcopal District, overseeing the church's work in Texas and Jamaica.
Current Roles & Leadership
Senior Bishop: Serves as the CEO of the College of Bishops.
Presiding Prelate: Eighth Episcopal District (Texas and Jamaica).
Board Leadership: Chair of the Texas College Trustee Board and member of the Board of Directors for Bread for the World.
Editorial Oversight: Chaired the committee to develop the new CME Hymnal and the Compilation Committee for the 2014 Book of Discipline.

B.A. degree: Ohio Wesleyan University.

Honorary Doctorates: Conferred by United Theological Seminary and Bible College (Monroe, LA) and Texas College (Tyler, TX).
Ordination: Licensed in 1966 at Frazier Chapel CME; ordained Deacon in 1968 and Elder in 1969.

Personal Life
Born on June 20, 1952, in Huntsville, Alabama, Bishop Reddick is married to Mrs. Wynde Jones Reddick. They are the parents of five children (Jon, Janice, Iris, Rose, and Samuel) and have eight grandchildren.
